Position Purpose:

We are currently in search of a talented and dedicated Medical Assistant who will support our patient care mission by carrying out clinical and administrative tasks in accordance with their scope of practice. You will escort patients to exam rooms, interview patients, measure vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and record information on patients' charts. As the advocates for our patients, you will ensure they are prepared for their office visit. Along with making our patients feel welcome, you may also be responsible for assisting the physician with additional testing or procedures.

High School Diploma or equivalent along with at least one of the following:

  • A diploma from a Medical Assistant Program, or
  • Minimum of 1 year of medical assisting experience, or
  • Equivalent of 1 year combined relevant medical assisting experience and education, or
  • Military Medic training, or EMT-P (Paramedic) training

Preferences:

  • Medical Assistant Certification
