We work with referring physicians, including orthopedic surgeons, pain management and rehabilitation doctors, neurologists, neurosurgeons and chiropractors, as well as case managers, personal injury attorneys, sports teams and others interested in achieving the best in medical imaging; we also directly serve patients, who are their own best advocates.
CareFirst is currently looking for energetic, self-motivated, customer service-oriented team players to work at our Ocala facility. As a Medical Assistant - Radiology Facilitator , you will be the face of our organization playing a critical role in delivering the highest level of customer service. Schedule is Part-time with availability to work evenings and Saturday's.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate and assist Technologists with patient care coordination
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Greet patients and visitors in a pleasant and courteous manner
- Enter data accurately into EMR system
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Education and Experience
- X-Ray/MRI Tech student preferred but not mandatory
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Phlebotomist or IV Certified a plus
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and caring demeanor
- Bilingual a plus
- Prior medical office experience a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Salary: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
