Med Aide (NOC Shift) - Vine Ridge at Cloverdale Job at Vine Ridge Senior Living at Cloverdale
We are looking for a passionate Med Aide to join our team here at Vine Ridge Cloverdale. The primary purpose of our Med Aides is to provide supervision of the medication room, assist residents with self-administration of their medications, provide documentation of care related to medication management and assist with activities of daily living for the residents. It is also the staff's responsibility to emulate the philosophy of a home-like environment in all the responsibilities of the job. As a part of our staff, we have the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of seniors and their families.
Essential duties:
- To ensure that resident needs are met through assisting the residents with the activities of daily living such as bathing, personal hygiene, dressing, eating, and walking, etc.
- To monitor the overall condition and changes of the residents
- To assist residents with medication management
- To perform light housekeeping duties
Qualifications:
- At least 18 years of age
- To be available to work assigned shifts, cooperate to work any extra shifts, and be willing to perform any task as assigned.
- Readiness to work as part of a team
Must be willing to receive Covid-19 vaccine.
Subject to Background Check.
Pay rate: base rate/wage + shift differential for overnight shift (10pm-6am)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
