Solmax is currently seeking Material Handler I for our Kingstree, SC plant.

Position Overview

This position exists to operate designated material handling equipment in a safe manner providing quality service.

Essential Job Functions

· Operate Solmax tug

· Operate Forklift

· Operate Overhead crane.

· Open and close containers

· Perform general housekeeping

· Strapping (pre-load).

· Change rolls

Other Job Functions

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Basic Qualifications

· High School Diploma.

· 1 years of loading experience

· 2 years of Forklift and Overhead crane experience.

· Yard experience preferred

· Able to work overtime

· Inventory knowledge

· Certified forklift driver.

· To be able to lift 50 lbs.

· Able to climb on and off stationary work areas 3 – 4 feet high.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
