Material Handler/Forklift Driver (2-2-3, Shift TBD) Job at Fres-co System USA, Inc
Job Summary:
a) Hourly, non-exempt, non-commissioned, non-supervisory position
b) The person in this position is responsible for efficiently transporting materials to and from designated locations, responding to press/laminator needs, and maintaining waste gaylords and fiber core pallets
c) Reports to Shipping/Receiving supervisor
Responsibilities:
a) Complete daily forklift inspection form
b) Stages materials at the presses for current and upcoming jobs
c) Organizes and utilizes available space to create good material flow
d) Scans in all materials to their current location
e) Moves WIP and return to stock materials from the presses an stores them in designated locations
f) Hangs all hold and disposition tags issued by the QA lab
g) Maintain work area and equipment in an orderly manner
h) Work in accordance with all company policies, GMPs, and environmental regulations
i) Other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
a) Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
b) Forklift certification
c) Problem solving, detail orientation, and organizational skills
Physical Dexterity:
a) Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
b) Able to repeatedly climb on and off of forklift
c) Visual acuity, hearing, and speaking
d) Good depth perception
e) Must be able to see and hear alarms
Environment and Scheduling:
a) Normal working hours are 8 hours shifts Monday-Friday
b) Fast paced, multi-tasking environment
c) Work overtime as needed
d) May be required to work weekends
e) Plant working environment
