Job description
Staffing Inc is partnered with a manufacturing client in Grand Rapids who is actively looking to hire qualified individuals for careers who are ready to start as soon as possible! The ideal candidate will be able to complete a drug screen and background check.
Shift: 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Quality team with product set instructions while meeting specified rates.
- Follow 5S requirements posted in work area and complete tasks in timely manner.
- Organizing and monitoring inventory.
- Loading and unloading packages.
- Documenting orders.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
Requirements
- Mechanically inclined and attention to detail
- Must have basic computer skills (ability to perform fundamental tasks on a computer)
- Have quality control instruments skills (micrometers, calipers, etc.)
- 1 year of material handler experience (preferred)
- 1 year of Hilo experience (preferred)
