Position Summary

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Material Handler will frequently stand, lift between 25 to 50 pounds, clean, palletize, label drums all in preparation for shipments. The material handler will need to be able to work in wet, dusty, noisy, and hot environments. Will need to be able available in all shifts and days through the week as the schedules will be set depending on production needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Notify supervisors and other personnel of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Ensure compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
• Ensure a safe, healthy work environment by following all safety, health and environmental policies, procedures and regulations per the Company's IIPP, GMP's, job safety practices and other related programs.
• Ability to comply with PPE: bump cap, safety glasses, face shield, boots, rubber boots, gloves, etc.
• Perform other duties as assigned per job responsibilities.

Position Requirements

• Entry level position no specific qualifications or education required.
• Any Production or Manufacturing experiences is a plus.
• Must have good attendance and work record (Existing Employees)

Essential Job Functions:

• All Production Areas
  • Be able to work overtime and weekends as needed
  • Be able to work and rotate all shifts
  • Be able to learn to scan and barcode material
  • Must be able to work alone with minimal supervision
  • Be able to work and rotate all work areas in specific department
• Dehydration
  • Be able to maintain and empty Onion Baskets levels to not cause a gap in Production Dryers
• Onion Milling
  • Be able to roll and dump production drums
  • Be able to build and breakdown production totes
• Parsley
  • Be able to build and breakdown Boxes and Totes
  • Be able to move material with a manual pallet jack
• Blending and Toasting
  • Be able to roll, fill, and dump production drums
