Hunter Engineering Company is a global leader in the development and manufacture of automotive service equipment. Our computer-based products set the standard in the industry. We are currently seeking a full-time Material Handler in our Paint department for our Raymond, MS facility. The position is available on first shift (6AM-2PM).
Responsibilities:
- Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
- Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to pre-determined sequence as size, type, style, color, or product code.
- Fills requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Arranges stock parts in specified sequence for assembly by other workers.
- Drives big joe, tow motor, or crane, to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items in several locations.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must understand CRT, and material handling scanning capabilities
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Manual dexterity in hands for various tool usage
- Must be willing to wear all required personal protective equipment
