Pirate Water Taxi Mascot
Pirate Water Taxi offers tours of downtown Tampa while transporting passengers to 14 stops along the Hillsborough River. We are looking for a Mascot to join our team and represent our brand as Yo Ho Joe.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
- Learn and act out the mannerisms of Pirate Water Taxi’s primary mascot, Yo Ho Joe.
- Responsible for interacting with and entertaining fans on the Tampa Riverwalk and at external events.
- Display enthusiasm and high energy at all times while in costume.
- Adhere to appropriate pose guidelines for taking photos with the public.
- Work hand in hand with mascot handlers to ensure safe practices are followed at all times.
- Preserve the identity of Yo Ho Joe at all times.
- Responsible for costume maintenance and cleanliness.
- Responsibly store costume after use ensuring it’s safety and protection.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays and special events as needed.
- Must work well in a team environment.
· Previous mascot experience preferred.
COMPENSATION
· $20 per hour.
· Part Time Position
