We have an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to utilize their prior marketing and community relations experience to contribute to the success and growth of the practice in this unique role as our Marketing Manager and Community Relations Specialist. This position will support numerous ongoing strategic content initiatives and execution of marketing campaigns for the practice. This position is responsible for the timely and consistent distribution of all content, targeting the appropriate audiences through both digital and traditional platforms and will develop early and appropriate referrals by creating and sustaining business partnerships with referral sources.

This position is a hybrid role working both in person and virtually. Additionally, this role will be expected to travel locally with the goal of networking and building new relationships with stakeholders within the communities we serve.

Job Summary

The Marketing Manager and Community Relations Specialistplays a role in developing and executing effective marketing strategies to promote our small but growing practice and increase client acquisition.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow their marketing skills through hands-on experience.The ideal candidate will have a solid marketing background, focusing on digital strategies, branding, digital analytics, website management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), community networking, lead generation, and graphic design. They will have experience in concepting and defining brand identity as well bringing the brand to life through customer experiences to positively impact growth and business goals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand identity.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns that align with company goals and our target audience, and promote our practice, increase brand awareness, and generate leads.
  • Coordinate and manage copywriters, social media managers, and graphic designers to create marketing materials and/or social media content for company pages.
  • Create, edit, and publish compelling copy for email, blogs, paid media, social media, press releases, presentations, newsletters, and website content this is engaging, on-brand, and optimized for conversions.
  • Utilize community networking strategies to build relationships with local businesses, organizations, and external stakeholders, expanding brand awareness, fostering new partnerships, and generating referrals.
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement and reporting on ROIs and KPIs.
  • Booking podcast interviews and speaking opportunities.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to continuously improve our marketing efforts.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong ability to collaborate closely with team members to solve problems, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail and concern for accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational skills; ability to determine and implement effective workflows.
  • Ability to identify, network, and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of web analytics, SEO, and related campaigns, be comfortable with data and possess the ability to identify patterns and provide insights.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and web-based interfaces.
  • Ability to measure lead acquisition, retention, and revenue data, and adjust campaigns accordingly.
  • Enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies
  • Must possess a Valid driver's license and a privately owned vehicle with insurance.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, or communications or closely related discipline required.
  • At least one (1) year of experience in copywriting, content creation, social media strategizing, social media management, and digital marketing experience
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing in a medical or healthcare setting, preferred

Schedule Requirements

  • Part-time, anticipated 20-25 hours per week. Position may move to full-time based on performance and business operations.
