Market Technician Job at Champion Xpress Car Wash
Position Overview
The Market Technician Reports directly to the Head Technician and Head of Facilities & Chemicals on
a daily basis. They will perform a full range of skilled technician maintenance, diagnostic,
inspection and repair duties on all Champion Xpress Car Wash equipment within his region. They will
work hand and hand with Market and Site Managers to ensure any and all maintenance, repair and
preventative maintenance is taking place on a daily, weekly, monthly and annual basis within his
region.
Responsibilities:
Communicate daily with Head Technician on all part orders necessary for repairs.
Work hand and hand with Head of Facilities and Chemicals, Head Technician, Market
Operations Managers and Site Manager to review nightly maintenance reports and weekly maintenance
manual checks.
Inspect and determine worthiness of each piece of equipment prior to replacing and
make recommendations to management.
Perform general overhaul, installation, repair, replacement and adjustments of car
wash equipment.
Build and sustain inventory of all equipment parts, as you deem necessary for
emergency repairs within your region.
Ensure chemical nozzles and applications are consistent across all washes.
Perform work in adherence to safe work practices and procedures and in compliance
with applicable standards and specifications. Remain current on all laws pertaining to safe
maintenance and repair of car wash equipment.
Will have to work some nights, weekends and on bad weather days to complete repairs
in order to allow the wash to remain operational during normal business hours.
Work hand and hand with Head of Facilities & Chemicals, Head Technician, Pumping
Company and Site Manager to schedule and assure exterior tanks are pumped correctly and
consistently.
Other Car Wash operations and processes as necessary.
