One of our biotech clients is currently hiring new team members who believe in the potential of engineered cells as medicines, who want to challenge status quo, and who lead with the desire to work on novel ideas. Our client is an innovative biotech company who are developing platforms that can repair and control genes in cells or replace any cell in the body. As a Manufacturing Associate of the Rochester Manufacturing Facility, you will report to the Director, Head of Rochester Manufacturing Facility to qualify the facility and perform manufacturing operations at the site.

What you’ll do:

•This is a Manufacturing facility support based position that will focus on supporting clean-room operations, preparing equipment, environmental monitoring, warehouse/logistics, and other facility site support operations

•Participate in facility startup which includes cleaning, preparation of equipment and facility qualification

•Assembles, cleans and sanitizes process equipment, and monitors processes

•Manage inventory, stocking, procuring, ordering, and materials for manufacturing operations

•Implement the GMP cell manufacturing process by drafting SOPs and executing GMP production

•Maintain clear records and maintain the facility to be inspection ready

What we’re looking for

•High School Diploma, with less than 2 years experience or an Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s Degree

•Understanding of and experience with cGMP manufacturing is a plus

What will separate you from the crowd:

•Manufacturing and/or Logistics experience

•Technical writing capability

•Hands on experience in GMP facility

*This is a 6-month contract with high possibility of additional 6-month extension (~12 month contract)
