The Manager Repair Workshop has operational responsibility for the repair workshop in Janesville, WI.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
- Provides leadership and technical support to workshop operation and to others within organization.
- Responsible as the Product Safety Officer for the operational safety of the repaired equipment
- Responsible for upholding quality and safety standards of GEA within the workshops and compliance with all other local safety requirements (OSHA)
- Ensures that all work is carried out in accordance with defined procedures and established safety standards.
- Liaises with other internal departments – repair, service / new equipment sales and field service regarding repair needs and technical support.
Your profile and qualifications:
- Ensures shop personnel and facilities are adequately utilized
- Monitors staff performance and facilitates training to improve skills, performance, or flexibility of team members
- Identifies and corrects more complex problems associated with repair activities
- Researches, evaluates and recommends new approaches or internal processes to meet customer and company needs
- Sets, aligns and governs repair targets, processes, standards, methods and tools
- Ensures customer satisfaction through high quality service levels and execution
- Delivers on KPI’s including utilization, repair time etc.
- Manages department budget, determines operational and capital spending needs
