Summary of Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for supervising, coaching and training maintenance and custodial staff. Also responsible for scheduling and coordinating repairs, pms and modification to production and facility assets. In addition this person will help manage contractors and troubleshoot as needed.

Essential Duties:
  • Coach, develop and supervise direct reports (Approx. 25%)
  • Schedule and coordinate preventative maintenance, modifications and repairs to equipment and facilities (30%)
  • Specifying, order and run to get parts (Approx. 25%)
  • Hands on trouble shooting of equipment in the field (Approx. 10%)
  • Coordinate work being done by contractors (Approx. 5%)
  • Other duties as determined by management (Approx. 5%)
NOTE: These duties are subject to change as business needs and strategies evolve. Employee may be required to perform other duties of comparable complexity.

Education:
  • High School /GED diploma required
  • Some college courses preferred
Experience:
  • 5 - 7 years of experience as an industrial electrician or mechanic required
  • 1 - 2 years of experience of maintenance supervision preferred
Required Skills:
  • Computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Drive a Fork Lift and other mobile equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to inspect repair and maintain machinery, tools, devices and structures.
  • Valid Driver’s License
