The Maintenance Technician will perform routine and extensive preventative maintenance and repair procedures on properties, mechanical, equipment, and utility systems.

The HVAC Maintenance Technician will perform minor maintenance duties in maintaining apartments, buildings, community spaces, adjacent walks and grounds, grass, and equipment in clean, orderly, and functional conditions, as well as providing assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees, as necessary.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of prior experience with HVAC Maintenance occupation
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Advanced experience using hand and electrical tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) - preferred
- EPA Certification - preferred
- Required Work Hours: 40 hours/week + on-call after regular work hours for emergencies
- Being a maintenance worker requires light troubleshooting abilities for a variety of different types of machinery and equipment like HVAC, electricity, plumbing, and occasionally janitorial or lawn maintenance.
- While performing the duties of this job, this position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing, as well as frequently lift and/or move items over 75 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.
- Must be able to work flexible hours.
