Job Role/Responsibilities:

Perform duties to diagnose, repair, and maintain a range of mechanical facility equipment, production equipment, and maintain facility grounds. Determine and report the need for outside vendor repairs to major equipment or systems when required, work within the limits of safety, standard operating procedures, or accepted practices.

Essential Functions:

1. Analyze, trouble shoot and repair electrical and mechanical devices and systems.

2. Performs preventative maintenance on all facilities and production equipment.

3. Notifies Facilities Manager of recurring equipment malfunctions and potential electrical/mechanical hazards.

4. While working on equipment, is required to use OSHA procedures in lock-out tag-out procedures.

5. Makes continuous improvement suggestions.

6. On call after hours for emergency repairs.

7. Understands/has the ability to understand Munters DH Quality Procedures.

8. Self-motivator, able to work independently or in a team environment.

9. May be part of a mechanical team on major installations.

10. Some computer knowledge required.

11. Work from work orders, verbal requests, preventative maintenance schedules, manuals and other documentation

Requirements:

1. Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time.

2. Ability to climb in overhead structures, work beneath machines and in close quarters (such as lift stations) to perform necessary work.

3. Fork truck license required.

4. Ability to use various tools for construction and adjustments of facilities and production equipment.

5. Obey all safety rules.

6. Occasionally lift and carry up to 55 lbs.

7. Occasionally push and pull up to 50 lbs.

8. Occasionally push with up to 120 lbs. of force.

9. Frequently stand, walk, bend, crouch, kneel, climb, maneuver, stoop, squat, grasp, and reach.

10. 2-3 years of experience in any of the following areas is required: Electronic, Electrical, HVAC, PLC, Hydro-pneumatic, Plumbing.

  • Occupational Safety and Health ISO Awareness
  • OSHA 10 Hr.
  • Lock out / Tag out
  • Electrical / Arc Flash
  • Fork Truck Training

Perform other tasks and assignments as required. On call after hours and weekends when needed for emergency repairs.
