SUMMARY Skilled technician serves as a technical resource to production to assist in correcting machine failures, installation of new equipment, and support of process improvements. Instructs, troubleshoots, programs, and repairs complex machinery, electrical systems, and robotics.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shows abilities to form and fabricate parts for trial projects and/ or repairs to production equipment.
• Follows graphic, written, and verbal directions and specifications
• Analyze malfunctioning machines and systems (electrical, hydraulic, pneumatics, etc.)
• Ability to make repairs or modifications to production equipment
• Uses experience, practices, basic data tables, handbooks and technical references to determine size, capacity, dimension and other working data for making repairs or modifications to equipment.
• Ability to make and implement recommendations and countermeasures on production equipment, making equipment modifications as necessary.
• Ability to utilize all documentation such as equipment manuals, schematics, and blueprints along with operating specifications.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• Demonstrated ability to work with hands and to work in mechanically oriented situations
• General knowledge of various types of equipment
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, maintenance type work

EDUCATION &/OR EXPERIENCE

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance helpful
• Experience in maintenance trades a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
