The Position: We are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor for the Wire Mill to manage and direct the hourly maintenance craft personnel on daily assignments and project work.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for managing the Wire Mill Maintenance Department, which includes galvanizing, drawing, barbed wire, fence, fabric, and the waste water treatment plant.
• Responsible for the Safety, Quality, and Productivity for the maintenance personnel on a daily basis.
• Supervises and directs the Electrical and Mechanical employees
• Reduces maintenance downtime
• Utilizes maintenance practices including predictive and preventative maintenance, thermography, oil analysis, and vibration analysis.
• Maintains records, schedules, and financial reports.
• Interface effectively with other members of Supervision, personnel from other departments, and union personnel.

Requirements:

• High School or GED education required
• 5 years of mechanical supervisory experience required
• Assertive and goal oriented self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Must possess a sense of urgency and capable of multi-tasking.
• Strong communication, organizational, and technical troubleshooting skills.
• Must be capable of using personal computers, Microsoft software and capable of learning maintenance software programs.
• Former electrical and/or mechanical education and experience preferred
• Hydraulics knowledge and experience preferred.
• Previous manufacturing maintenance experience preferred.

PAY RANGE: $59,400 - $74,250
