Intro
The Maintenance Department at Vitesco Technologies, Seguin TX Plant is responsible for Maintenance of Line tasks to ensure up time of the production equipment used to build products for our customers.
Job Description:
- Plan, organize, and direct the daily activities of maintenance technicians using ADDS for planning / execution
- Mentor Technicians utilizing problem solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control and continuous process improvement tools - create a high morale workplace with the highest ethical standards
- Work with Process Engineers and equipment suppliers to analyze failures, develop and implement permanent corrective actions and preventative action plans - ensure compliance across all shifts
- Participate in setting departmental goals and expectations while ensuring compliance with same
- Ensure adherence to procedures, 5S, and safety standards as required by law and company policy
- Works with property management to conduct regular on-site safety meetings and ensures compliance with all federal, state and local safety regulations, including OSHA, EPA, Workers’ Compensation and Hazard Communications
- Perform other duties as assigned
The Maintenance Supervisor plans, organizes, and directs the daily schedule of on shift maintenance technicians performing maintenance, repairs, and improvements on plant equipment and processes. Ensures proper attendance of ADDS and leads the technicians on shift per departmental guidelines and best practices. Supervisory responsibility for management of employee performance, discipline, development, and recourse planning. Responsible for monitoring labor and material costs.
Basic Requirements:
Necessary Educational Background: 2 Year Associates Degree in Technical Field
Necessary Professional Experience: 3 years experience in a technical role
Necessary Knowledge: Supervision of personnel, technical work experience
Language skills: English Expert
Willingness to travel: Travel on limited occasions
