JOB TITLE: MAINTENANCE SERVICES ASSISTANT STATUS: FULL TIME - UNION (SC I)
DEPARTMENT: ALL AGENCY FACILTIES____ REPORTS TO: Director Maintenance Services
EMPLOYEES SUPERVISED DIRECTLY: ____________ NONE
JOB SUMMARY: Provide inspection of Agency facilities and vehicles to assure a safe work environment. Will make minor repairs and will coordinate with outside vendors to provide other repairs and improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Monitors and inspects all Agency facilities and vehicles to assure compatibility with the organization’s safety guidelines.
2. Will make repairs or arrange for same to Agency facilities and vehicles, as needed.
3. Coordinates with outside vendors/contractor’s for repairs and improvements to Agency facilities.
4. Deliver packages, interoffice mail and other items between VHS sites.
5. Adheres to requirements in General Skills Evaluation.
6. Will perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by VHS management
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Three to five years experience in maintenance and repairs.
Current valid dirver’s license
EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or equivalent
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of three years of maintenance services related experience.
Basic word processing skills.
Competency in standard office practice.
Physical: Ability to maintain accurate records. Fine motor skills for legible written documentation and use of keyboard.
Ability to work required hours and fulfill job requirements.
