Maintenance II Job at United Helpers
We are seeking a full-time caretaker to split time between our housing complexes in Fowler and Gouverneur. The position includes 15 hours per week in Fowler and 25 hours per week in Gouverneur.
Responsibilities will include general maintenance duties including: Lawn care, snow removal, cleaning, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, painting, and preparing apartments for new tenants. Light to moderate lifting is required, as is daily interaction with residents.
Other duties may include apartment inspections, and following up with hired contractors to ensure adequacy of services such as trash removal, exterminating and other work.
A valid New York State driver’s license is required.
