Position Title: Maintenance Assistant – 1st Shift
Wage: $16.00 + per hour (based on experience)
Shift: 1st
Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm

This well-known company in Mason City is looking for a candidate to assist the maintenance team. You would work a schedule that would require no weekends unless you choose to work overtime, which is available upon request! - Assist the lead maintenance associate by repairing machines using hand and power tools while machines are in Lock-Out-Tag-Out and shutdown for repairs after being trained by the lead maintenance associates.
- Stand on a rolling staircase with rails to access certain parts of the machines.
- Operate a forklift after being certified by company.
- Prior maintenance experience preferred.
- Prior experience using hand and power tools.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Ability to stand 8 to 12 hours.
- Ability to squat, bend, twist, and reach.
- Ability to walk up and down stairs.
- Ability to hold onto hand and power tools.
- Available upon hire.
