Lumber Handler (Day and Night Shift) $500 Hiring Bonus Job at Matson Lumber Company
**Hiring Bonus - $500.00 (after 90 days) - Corsica and Brookville - All Shifts**
Matson Lumber Company has an excellent opportunity available immediately for full-time Lumber Handlers (1st or 2nd Shift) in our organization. Matson Lumber Company is a manufacturer of premium hardwood lumber and is a strong family-owned company for over 63 years. This Safety-Sensitive position provides training and opportunity for career advancement.
Responsibilities include:
- Handling, sorting and stacking rough cut lumber by dimension, species and grade.
- Ensure lumber is placed accurately and neatly into the appropriate cart.
- Working in open warehouses and keeping work areas safe and clean.
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements include:
- Must be safety conscious, have a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
- Must have excellent attendance.
- High school or GED equivalent.
- Work at a fast pace and be detail oriented.
- Pre-employment physical and drug-screen required.
- Candidates must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
- Requires personal protective equipment be worn at all times.
- Cross training in other positions.
