This position is a 2nd shift. The hours are from 4PM to 12AM. Top pay for this role is $13.92/hr. Overtime is required, as need be.
The Loom Cleaner is to thoroughly clean exposed areas of looms at Cut-out or Lift pattern. The warp crew will thoroughly clean exposed areas of loom on Tie backs. Cleaner should follow a routine schedule of thoroughly vacuuming / cleaning machines in assigned area. Also cleaning floor, walls and area surrounding assigned job is required. Obtain clean towels from Supply Room, review cleaning boards for the next scheduled machine that needs cleaned. The loom cleaner should ensure that housekeeping and 5S policies are being adhered to. This position will ultimately transition into a Cloth Doffer and the pay will increase to $16.18 an hour.
Requirements for role:
- Must work safely, following all job, plant, and department safety rules to avoid injury to self / others
- Must wear personal protective equipment when required.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-3 years' manufacturing experience, preferably in a textile environment
