Position located at US Army Joint Mobilization Site Fort Bliss, Texas

These positions are contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

  • Process requests for Class I, II, III, Class IV, Class VIII and Class IX supplies.
  • Maintain accountability for all items in the inventory.
  • Maintain a daily Transaction Register showing all actions taken during the day.
  • Collect cardboard from unpacking supplies and gather for turn-in from 3 storage facilities.
  • Deliver fresh linen; pick up soiled linen, and inventory linen from Fort Bliss, Biggs, McGregor and Westbrook on a daily basis.
  • Provide support to MOB and DEMOB units in packaging, loading, and delivering equipment for shipping.
  • Maintain document registers for expendable/durable and non- expendable items.
  • Maintain document registers for expendable/durable and non- expendable items.
  • Assign appropriate document numbers to each request and post status and completed action Files.
  • Maintain files for all suspense and supporting documentation assigned a document number.
  • Pickup Class 1 supplies (rations) from Troop Issue Subsistence Activity (TISA) (i.e., Meals Ready to Eat (MRE’s), shelf stable meals and Ice).
  • Pickup supplies from Supply Support Activity Warehouse (SSAW) to replenish inventory
  • Inventory incoming shipments that are received at storage facilities from vendors.
  • Stencil equipment that is issued to supporting units.
  • Conduct monthly Inventories of all Classes of supplies stored in the storage facilities and CONNEXES.
  • Prepare Supply requests received from mob, DEMOB units, Mobilization Branch, DPTMS, RFI, ACU team, and Forward Operating Bases (FOBs).
  • Sort recyclables cardboard, cans, paper products etc.
  • Perform daily (7 days a week) services to fill, drain, sanitize and move to range services 34 water buffalos and 16 stationary tanks, service 50+ hand wash stations which requires heavy Truck Drivers.
  • Maintain operable fuel levels in all distributed Mobilization Branch, DPTMS equipment daily (7 days a week) i.e., light sets, forklifts, generators and reefers.
  • Provide support in issuing and maintaining an accurate inventory of MREs, and Shelf Stable meals for troop issue.
  • Maintain a file of approved Notice of Delegation of Authority – Receipt for Supplies, DA Form 1687, for organizational representatives authorized to request, receive, turn-in, or exchange bulk OCIE at the CIF. Shall track and maintain signature cards for all hand receipt holders.
  • Maintain receipt and transaction files in accordance with applicable regulations.
  • Process and edit incoming requisitions, lateral transfers, statement of charges, turn-ins, FLIPL, and receipt documents to adjust property accountability in accordance with AR 735-5 and AR 710-2.
  • Provide support in validating FLIPL and statements of charges against valid clothing record/hand receipt items before action is taken. Provide support in conducting investigations involving lost, stolen, missing or damaged property.
  • Submit requisitions for expendable/durable and non-expendable item in accordance with DA PAM 710-2-1, AR 710-2, and STAMIS manuals.
  • Receive documents for hand receipt items and provide to the Primary Hand Receipt Holder within three working days of the receipt day.
  • Enter data into GCSS-Army or other automated systems hand receipts for all bulk issues in accordance with AR 710-2, DA PAM 710-2-1 and GCSS-Army Manuals.
  • Schedule appointments with hand receipt holders and update the hand receipt and resolve accountabilities issues. Hand receipts to customers shall be updated not later than six months from the date of the oldest change document.
  • Stage equipment to include reefers, light sets, generators, and operate forklifts and other equipment used at all base camps (McGregor, Dona Ana, Oro Grande and other remote sites supporting Ft. Bliss).
  • Operate NTV /military vehicles and equipment in support of this task.
  • Transport needed supplies to outlying base camps, Mobilization Branch, DPTMS sections.
  • Receive requests for specific items or services from activity customers and validates authority to provide such services or items.
  • Maintain accountability and stock accounting records.
  • Provide full support to procurement activities for standard and recurring purchases or leases of items or services.
  • Knowledge of GCSS-Army and other systems associated with the acquisition and supply accountability process.
  • Monitor delivery and make inquiries in order to track and find the status of overdue items.
  • Reviews accuracy of Mobilization Branch, DPTMS requests for nonexpendable supplies and equipment. Ensures items and quantities requested are authorized; and determines the correctness of authority, stock number and nomenclature, cost, source, method of acquisition, and other information such as manufacturer designation, identification number, dimensional data, contract number, and property book number.
  • Provide support in maintaining document register, hand receipt maintenance of records, and accountability of hand receipt items and associated records on nonexpendable item.
  • Receives, identifies, inventories, and catalogs all equipment received.
  • Use knowledge of standardized supply regulations to perform a variety of technical support duties related to maintaining property accounts and records, completing individual transactions, provide customer support, screening reference files, conducting data searches, and distributing output files.
  • Update unit supply databases with information provided from various sources and prepare reports to reflect budget balance based on supplies consumed. Retrieves and uses data to respond to issues.
  • Determine when to requisition and the quantities needed based on direct input from customers and usage patterns and trends. Identifies potential discrepancies and takes appropriate action.
  • Operate automated supply databases and manual systems to prepare and process documents and to enter, correct and retrieve a variety of recurring reports.
  • Inform customers of operating policies, procedures, requirements, and responsibilities in accordance with AR 710-2,DA PAM 710-2-1, DA PAM 710-2-2, DA PAM 738-750 and related FORSCOM, AMC, TRADOC, First Army and IMCOM publications. Maintain required files in each functional area of responsibility in accordance with current regulations, pamphlets, and other governing directives for those areas, and shall destroy files as required.
  • Follow Mobilization Branch, DPTMS, Logistics storage facilities Section SOP and to propose updates as situations change.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizen
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Proficient in English and report writing skills
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of relevant software
  • Have Knowledge of Global Combat Support System (GCSS-Army) Standard Army Management Information Systems (STAMIS), General Fund Enterprise Business System Website (GFEBS), DMLSS Customer Support System (DCAM) and The ARMY Maintenance Management System (TAMMS) User’s Manual (IAW) with DA DA PAM 750-8
