Qualifications
Demonstrable expertise as a logistics coordinator or in a position equivalent to it with duties that are similar.- Customer service expertise will be valued.
- Understanding of the rules and laws that apply to the transportation sector.
- The capacity to operate independently, monitor different procedures.
- A working knowledge of the logistics programme CargoWise and/or the ability to pick up new software fast.
- Exceptional organisational abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- We are seeking a capable Logistics Coordinator to direct and coordinate our business' supply chain activities.
- You will be in charge of coordinating resources and procedures to ensure efficient delivery of commodities.
- A logistics coordinator's communication and negotiating abilities are a huge plus.
- Control the scheduling and tracking of loads for pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate with retailers, customers, suppliers/shippers, etc.
- All stages of the delivery process to guarantee high levels of client satisfaction
- Plan and monitor product shipments in accordance with customer needs.
- Maintain logs and records of load tracking times and locations with accuracy.
- Ensure that your reports are accurate for upper management.
Salary: $55,000 - $65,000
Location: Austin, TX
This is a full time, direct hire position.
