Culmen International, LLC is seeking a full-time adaptive Logistician who will work on a dynamic logistics contract in support of a Department of Defense, United States Navy customer. The overall scope is centralized material management services to include support of logistics and asset management practices including Packing, Handling, Storage, and Transportation (PHS&T) in support of all projects, at different project phases, and customers. The successful candidate must possess the skills listed below and be able to apply their experience and knowledge to successfully complete end-to-end logistics.

The successful candidate will be an independent thinker, detail oriented, and an effective time manager. The candidate must have strong written and oral communication skills, be a fast learner, and work well in a dynamic team environment.

Job Type and Location: Full Time, must be located within 50 miles of Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) St. Inigoes, Maryland. 100% On-site

Must have an active USG secret clearance.

This work is contingent upon award to Culmen International.

Duties:

• Apply recent and best practices related to supply chain management and warehouse storage.
• Directly responsible for the entire life cycle of a product, including acquisition, tracking status, reporting of parts and consumables, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, full documentation and final disposal of resources.
• Support the semi-annual wall-to-wall inventories for all warehoused items, resolve any discrepancies, and report results.
• Assist with the arrangement of hazardous materials storage and receipt.
• Apply knowledge with best practices related to packing and labeling of perishable, temperature-controlled items.
• Generate receiving or outgoing documents and maintain recordkeeping database.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Six (6) years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum three (3) years of experience must be in logistics or supply chain management.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred in Logistics or supply chain management, business or business disciplines degree. Or, an additional six (6) years of experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with IATA Dangerous Goods Regulation.
• Familiarity with DoD data asset management, Item Unique Identification (IUID) management, hazardous and controlled material management.
• Recent experience and intimate knowledge with U.S. Departments of State and Commerce International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
• Highly proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
