Conditions:
- Salary is $16.25 / hour
- Work location is at5 Tallahassee, FL
- At least 2 years experience at any related fields
- Driver's License, Class E required
- High school diploma required
Job Responsibilities:
- Performs installation of locking and non-locking hardware consisting of and not limited to cylindrical locks, door closers, latch guards and cam locks
- Maintain and collect information for Master Key System and fabrication of keys by code. Trade related skills, able to re-key IC Core Standard Pin Tumbler and Wafer Locks
- Keying knowledge consisting of creating a Biting Array. Ability to impression wafer locks. Repair and replace wood and metal doors
- Repairs locks using hand tools and special equipment
- Reads blueprints and understands fundamentals of hardware and keying schedules
- Use hand tools, power tools and operate key fabricating code machines.
- Disassembles locks and repairs or replaces worn tumblers, springs and other parts
- Cuts new or duplicate keys using key cutting machine, unlocks doors, lockers or other equipment when keys are stolen or when the combinations are lost
- Installs new locks, exit devices, assists in keeping key bank records up-to-date and performs related work as assigned by supervisor.
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
