Coffeehouse Five exists to serve the community by producing high quality house-made products (COFFEE), creating open and inviting places to gather (COMMUNITY), and providing accessible mental health services (COMPASSION).

We are a FOR-BENEFIT coffeehouse. As opposed to for-profit companies that exist for the sake of generating a profit, we exist for the benefit of the community. All net profit is invested in building a stronger community by providing free marriage and addictions counseling and paying for mental health services provided to our clients by other professionals.

Our locations in Greenwood, Franklin, and opening soon in Bargersville are open Mon-Sat 7:30am - 4:30 pm.

As a Coffeehouse Five manager you will oversee day-to-day operations at a single location, maintaining the Coffeehouse Five standards for customer service, product quality and consistency, and cleanliness. It will be your responsibility to provide an exceptional guest experience and a positive working environment for your team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months coffee shop or other restaurant experience
• A leader who thrives in a fun, fast-paced environment while adhering to brand standards and maintaining a clean, organized cafe
• A team player, able to work together with the entire team for the success of Coffeehouse Five
• A teachable attitude, open to continuous learning and correction
• A welcoming, upbeat, positive attitude
• A results-oriented problem solver who takes responsibility and ownership of their location
• ServSafe food safety certified or willingness to become certified upon hiring

Responsibilities

• Understand and show enthusiasm for the mission of Coffeehouse Five and our support of the community
• Train staff to follow Coffeehouse Five policies and procedures
• Perform staff evaluations
• Interact with guests to get feedback on product quality and service levels
• Control operational costs, identify and implement ways to cut waste
• Ensure all areas of the cafe are professional, clean, and organized
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
• Track, maintain and report inventory levels for all product and supplies
• Create and manage weekly staff schedules
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and report any issues to management immediately
• Attend weekly management meetings
• Be obsessive about quality and cleanliness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28,000.00 - $32,000.00 per year
