Loader Job at Schillings
Great news! Schillings is currently looking for a Loader at our Saint john, IN location. This position is full-time with opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
- Must demonstrate safe and proper use of equipment at all times
- Responsible for pulling and accurately building orders for loading onto delivery trucks
- Build orders according to assigned load tickets using industrial power equipment
- Manually lift and move product to restock and repack ensuring date code accuracy and proper rotation
- Work independently and with team members under tight deadlines
- Follow all company policies and procedures
- Complete any additional task requested by management
Requirements:
- Maintain a valid driver's license
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen
- Experience in load building in a lumber yard and/or forklift experience
- Exceptional leadership, customer service, and problem solving skills required
- Ability to lift over 50lbs
- Work outside in temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold
- Organizational skills, ability to do basic math and read a tape measure
- Proficient scoring on all candidate testing
