Our Line Cooks are passionate about creating and maintaining a scratch-kitchen menu, providing our guests with a wide variety of options including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options. We are currently seeking experienced, professional Line Cooks to help complete our team. Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen. They will have a positive attitude and will not be afraid to ask questions. That being said, we are willing to train the right line cook for success, regardless of experience.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

· Preparing food items in accordance with all procedures outlined during training

· Ability to read and follow written recipes including interpreting measurement abbreviations

· Operating standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently

· Maintaining a clean station and setting up fellow employees for success

· Ensure that the kitchen, food prep areas and food storage areas meet restaurant cleanliness and safety standards

· Monitor product freshness and rotate out old product based on "First In First Out" procedures and State of Michigan regulations

· Support the dish team by organizing dirty dishes neatly and helping in the pit when necessary

· Communicating with management and fellow employees when equipment is not working properly and when we run low or run out of food items

Line Cook Requirements:

· Reliable transportation

· Willingness to expand culinary knowledge

· Ability to be on your feet for long hours

· Ability to multi-task

· Line cook like a line cook and prep as a line cook, line cooking

· Motivated to self-identify tasks during slow times

· Devoted team player willing to go above and beyond for our guests'
