Opportunity:
Join Bluefin, an industry leader who is serving California communities by being ambassadors for the government provided Lifeline program. We are providing qualified consumers with free wireless service lines that include unlimited calling and texting, we also provide free data, and a complimentary Android smartphone free of charge. The current areas that we are servicing are Sacramento, Los Angeles, and Fresno and is ready to expand into the Bay Area, Riverside County and San Diego County.
Since Bluefin is moving toward expansion, we are hiring motivated and compassionate individuals who are able to understand the ins and outs of the lifeline program and needs to be patient to communicate the details effectively to consumers entering into the program. Although customer service and sales experience would be a plus, Bluefin is not excluding individuals that don’t have experience in either field. Candidates should be able to explain what skills or experiences they have that will make them a good brand ambassador for this program.
New hires with no experience will be trained for the job and should expect an average between $16,000 - $40,000 initially, based off being part time or full time. After being trained in the industry and having experience; advanced hires can expect to make between $25/hr to $80/hr through promotions, depending on job title and management ambitions. Your yearly income will depend on your schedule and the time you spend as an agent and can be as high as $160,000 per year.
Candidates Do NOT have to live near the office to work for Bluefin. They can live anywhere within California as long as they are 40 minutes to a city with a city government or welfare office.
Pre-requisites
- Driver’s license or government-issued Identification
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Ability to read, write and speak English. Bilingual is a plus
- Must be able to pass a background check
- 18+ years of age

- Must pass lifeline compliance requirements for the program and maintain fraud prevention standards
Responsibilities
- Represent the Bluefin Wireless brand and Lifeline program in a professional and positive manner
- Effectively explain the lifeline program and its requirements for consumer eligibility
- Understand the process of verifying documents for authenticity for eligible consumers, enrolling them and then activating their phone.
- Follow company and Lifeline regulatory protocols
- Execute marketing strategies, maintaining inventory and supplies
- Able to handle reports, accounting for product and activity daily
- Serving the community and delivering a great brand experience.
