Animal Emergency and Specialty Center in Knoxville, Tennessee is looking for a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing Oncology Team!!

The Oncology Team works as the heart of the hospital. We provide expansive and compassionate care for patients with the belief that regardless of the diagnosis, every patient can be helped. We take a team approach to provide the best client and patient experiences during the frightening time that follows a cancer diagnosis. This means that you will play an active role in helping patients live longer despite their diagnosis. Oncology is a growing and highly specialized field, providing an excellent opportunity for development within the veterinary profession.

Our new team member will work within a very experienced Oncology team to learn about the oncology cases that we see in order to assist our veterinarians and provide the highest level of care for our patients. Our Veterinary Technicians and Assistants are responsible for skilled nursing care, including assisting with and learning chemotherapy delivery and other treatment modalities to give our patients the highest possible quality of life.
