Job Description:

We are seeking compassionate and professional LPN/RN to join our team as a School Nurse. This position is part-time weekend hours including Saturday and Sunday mornings 8 AM -11 AM and Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings 6 PM - 10 PM. The successful candidate will have a passion for working with adolescents and a commitment to fostering a healthy and safe learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer medication and treatments to students as prescribed.
• Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics such as nutrition, exercise, and disease prevention.
• Conduct regular screenings and health checks.
• Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
• Maintain accurate medical records for all students.
• Liaise with parents, teachers, and administrators on health-related issues.
• Respond to emergencies.

Qualifications:

• Valid LPN or RN license.
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making abilities and professional judgment.
• Working knowledge of health and safety guidelines.
• Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.

Work Hours:

Part-time weekend hours including Saturday and Sunday mornings 8 AM -11 AM and Friday, Saturday, Sunday evenings 6 PM - 10 PM .
