This position works as part of the team that cares for, manages, and promotes Towson University’s Special Collections and University Archives by arranging, describing, preserving, and providing access to records of enduring value. Under the leadership of the Assistant University Librarian for Special Collections & University Archives, this position cultivates outward-facing relationships with students, faculty, staff, alumni, and independent scholars by assisting with and/or conducting research to fulfill reference questions, cultivating an engaging social media presence across multiple platforms, developing educational presentations and exhibits, and contributing to the arrangement and description of special collections and archives materials.
