We are looking for two Learning & Development Specialist II to join the team! The Nashville, TN position will start off by working remotely and transition to work in office at our 2nd hub location when it opens some time next year. The candidate must live/reside in the Nashville, TN area. The Dallas, TX position will be remote position with travel to the Dallas, TX branches and Nashville, TN office.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Identifying, designing, developing, and delivering training based on business unit and/or organizational needs that contributes to the overall success of the employee’s professional development and career pathing.
  • Identifying and evaluating organizational learning and development needs, recommending solutions, and creating/updating training content on a regular basis.
  • Leading technical functional training and employee development training initiatives across all levels within the organization.
  • Driving portfolio of learning and development programs.
  • In partnership with department leaders and other relevant stakeholders, participating and providing support on projects by developing and delivering training.
  • Providing additional support for employee onboarding including coordinating and conducting new employee orientation as needed.
  • Delivering training and “train-the-trainer” regularly to bring up new facilitators.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Human Resources, Psychology, Business or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in retail banking, credit union or other financial institution.
  • Experience identifying department or group-level employee development needs.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience assessing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating employee development solutions.
  • Experience facilitating in-person and virtual training sessions at a financial services organization.
  • Experience working with web development tools, authoring tools, e-learning technologies, and the Adobe Suite.
