The Leadership Development trainer will help drive company PRIDE values and Organizational Health Dimensions to achieve company goals while delivering professional and leadership development training to team members and leaders. The position will work with T&D as well as stakeholders to ensure adequate training programs are in place to achieve business results. Training programs focus on a variety of topics, including company culture, values, competencies, business acumen, and team development. Facilitate both internal and vendor-developed training courses, virtually as well as instructor-led; function as both an internal consultant and coach, as needed.

  • Assists in the set-up and operation of training facilities, tools, and materials
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Excellent facilitation, presentation, and classroom management skills
  • Proficient in applying the Adult Learning Theory
  • Organized and capable of meeting all deadlines
  • Positive, professional, determined, calm, and focused when faced with challenging situations
  • Quick thinker with an ability to understand and interpret information promptly and effectively
  • Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a team environment
  • Organized with an ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple requests
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels within the organization
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills and ability to make quick decisions
  • Self-driven, motivated to help, and able to perform with minimal supervision in a collaborative environment
  • Coachable - receptive to ongoing feedback
Required:
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum three to five years’ recent leadership experience and leadership development facilitation skills
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a management role, leading others
  • Experience delivering training to multiple levels of leadership, such as supervisors, managers, directors, etc.
  • Experience with leadership assessment tools, such as 360, DiSC, and others
  • Experience delivering leadership development training using all available delivery modalities, including in-person instructor-led and virtual instructor-led, webinars, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher
  • Experience delivering training by the training plan and Instructor Guide
  • Strong background in delivery skills using adult learning practices and familiarity with design principles
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time
Preferred:
  • Master’s Degree in adult education, organization development, performance improvement, related field
Targeted Compensation: $86,000 - $100,000 + an annual bonus plan
