Pool and Spa Depot is looking to add a
Lead Retail Sales Specialist to our Bowling Green team!

- Trains and develops the Retail Sales Specialists (Front Counter Retail Associate Team) while leading by example.
- Aids in recruiting, onboarding and training of the front counter team.
- Tests customer’s water to help balance and provide direction to troubleshoot or maintain clear pool and spa water.
- Builds effective relationships and trust with customers by listening to their needs and educating them about the products and services
- Manages daily cash and reconciles drawer management consistently without variance.
- Partners with the Service Department to ensure customer’s service needs have been met.
- Acts as a liaison between retail associates and store management to address concerns, issues and suggestions.
- Maintain a clean and organized store, with diligent attention to detail on fully stocked and correctly priced merchandise.
- Become a subject matter expert on the products and services we offer
- Identifies training needs of retail team members and works to schedule training
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- Two to 4 years customer service experience
- Previous experience with swimming pools is a plus.
- Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective time management skills
- Basic Math skills
- Ability to lead, motivate & promote a team environment
- Dependable with open availability and flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays.
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to build and maintain good rapport with customers and handle situations with confidence, tact and resourcefulness.
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Strong desire and ability to serve customers and solve problems
- Flexible, adaptable with the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug and background screen.
