Laundry Worker Job at Pella Regional Health Center
Responsible for the processing, distribution and storage of washable linen, garments and other items. Performs basic laundry tasks to include washing, folding, mending, and inspection for continued use. Performs duties designed to maintain the laundry department and linens in an orderly, sanitary and safe condition. Responsible for the daily oversight of the laundry function of the facility, reporting to the CQO.
Minimum knowledge, skills, and abilities:
v Some related experience preferred.
v Must have knowledge of or ability to learn laundry techniques and infection control practices.
v Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
v Ability to operate laundry equipment.
v Ability to learn with moderate direction.
v Ability to work independently.
v Ability to work at a steady and quick pace.
Location: Pella Regional Health Center · Laundry Services - Hospital
Schedule: Part Time, Days, 7:00am-3:30
