Laboratory Administrator Job at RUME HEALTH
Job Summary
RUME is dedicated to providing accessible testing and wellness programs for all. We offer point of care testing, vaccinations and urgent care services at a price that patients can afford. Our goal is to provide Healthcare and testing for everyone.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence, as needed
- Effectively communicate with clients and resolve issues with submitted samples and documentation.
- Coordinate with laboratory staff to facilitate interdepartmental communication
- Be familiar with the laboratory’s quality control procedure.
- Comply with all HIPPA and OSHA regulations and policies
- Perform clerical duties, scheduling, and filing
- Communicate with customers and staff via phone and email in a professional manner
Required Skills/Abilities
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Docs, and Sheets)
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong commitment to first class customer service and patient care
- Must be very detailed oriented
- Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively
Education and Experience
- Associates Degree preferred but equivalent experience maybe considered
- 2 years’ experience in an office setting and/ or administrative assistant role
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and reach often
- Must be able to operate a computer and requisite programs with or without accommodation
