Dan Schantz Farm & Greenhouses LLC is one of the nation’s largest greenhouse growers.

We are seeking a goal-driven Key Account Manager to drive business development in addition to maintaining superior relationships with our current customers.

This full-time role will initially require onsite work at our Zionsville, PA location with minimal travel (approximately 10% per year). As the business develops, additional travel may be required and consideration of hybrid work.

CORE EXPECTATIONS

• Expand and sustain long-lasting relationships with customers, including big box retailers as well as mid-size to smaller wholesale and retail accounts
• Develop new business
• Negotiate contracts to obtain competitive pricing
• Analyze market trends, sales, and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve and grow business
• Maintain accurate records of all sales
• Prepare sales forecast, status, and other reports
• Create sales proposals and presentations
• Collaborate and communicate with production and logistic teams to ensure timely delivery of quality products

EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related fields preferred or relevant work experience
• Experience in Horticulture industry a plus
• Experience with selling to big box retail preferred
• Sales experience with proven success
• Experience working with production, planning, and project management
