This is a Monday -Friday/office-based position (in Sherman Oaks). Tentative hours 9:30 – 4:30 PM
This role demands knowledge and experience in the media outlet space with effective research skills and relationships with press and consumer brands (specifically music, sports and lifestyle). Much of this position will be in-office researching and pitching as well as managing day to day schedules, calendars, roll-outs, etc. with occasional in the field PR (attending events with clients and/or assisting with client related events). Must have a take-no/exhaust all routes hustle and mindset. This person must thrive on getting the job done for the client.
· Strong interpersonal skills (outgoing, personable).
· Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Proficient at pitching media as well as submitting clients for opportunities.
· Experienced with Cision, Rocketreach, Mailtrack and Celebrity Intelligence.
· Proficient at researching targeted media outlets, media categories/segments, consumer brands and events, etc, specifically music (hip hop and pop), sports (NFL/NBA), and lifestyle and tech brands.
· Assisting in planning and executing PR strategy for client events, etc.
· Strong knowledge or familiarity of music and entertainment industry (sports, hip-hop, pop)
· Ability to create and maintain relationships with media sources.
· Awareness of current and viral trends.
· Strong verbal communication - writing and spelling skills are a must.
· Write and send press/media releases to distribute to media.
· Strong knowledge of social networking sites, Excel and Word.

Pay: $2,100.00 per month
