Trillium Works! is an agency providing quality person centered services to people with developmental disabilities. At Trillium Works!, our highly trained Job Coaches are thoughtful, patient, innovative, and committed to empowering individuals with disabilities to overcome barriers and build independence in the workplace. From the morning pick up to the afternoon drop offs, job coaches spend their day in a mentor role assuring that people have autonomy in their own success.

This includes direct support activities such as on-the-job guidance, building skills through volunteer opportunities, resume development, and interview preparedness for the people we serve. Job coaches receive extensive on-the-job and classroom training and have the support of a strong and knowledgeable supervisory staff. Job Type: Job Coach (DSP) Direct Support Professional

  • Full-time or part-time (both are available)
  • Typically between 8am and 3pm.
  • Some evening shifts 2-10pm
  • No mandated shifts

Salary: Job Coach (DSP) Direct Support Professional

  • $16.00 per hour
  • Commuter Mileage Reimbursements when applicable

Responsibilities of the Job Coach (DSP) Direct Support Professional

  • Assist people with the development of employment skills.
  • Assist people with their Job Search.
  • Promote community contribution and empower people to accomplish their career goals.
  • Work out in the community one on one with the individual who is working or looking for a job.
  • Perform all shift duties in-accordance with program protocols.
  • Follow all program rules and regulations, supervision and safety.

Minimum Requirements: Job Coach (DSP) Direct Support Professional

Experience is not required, however, applicants must:

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a high school diploma, or GED
  • Have and maintain a valid Driver’s License
  • Use of a reliable and insured vehicle

Preferred Qualities: Job Coach (DSP) Direct Support Professional

  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Prior Human Services field experience
  • Critical Thinking and Problem Solving
  • Person-centered Planning
  • CPR / First Aid
  • Training and/or Mentoring experience
