Job Summary: Zoltek is looking for a WAN Security Administrator to join our IT Team at our Corporate Headquarters.

Do you want to work for the world’s largest manufacturer of carbon fiber pultrusion? This position requires a team player interested in using their technical skills and experience to assist Zoltek in our ongoing migration of systems to the cloud. Zoltek’s IT strategy is a hybrid approach with cloud services integrated to on-premises systems used for manufacturing.

As a member of the IT department, you will provide support to four facilities in the US plus collaborate with IT teams in Hungary and Mexico. Zoltek employs over 2,700 people located at facilities in Hungary, Mexico, and multiple sites in the US. Our parent company, Toray Industries, is championing a global transition of group companies to the Microsoft cloud.

Primary responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and support the Zoltek’s next-generation network systems and security related components globally such as 802.1x, zero trust, VPN, firewalls, DNS/DHCP, etc. Firewalls, site-to-site and remote access VPN tunnels, network authentication servers.
• Configure and manage central network components (including Cisco switches, Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Firewalls, VeloCloud SD-WAN and Wireless LAN Controllers) to provide service to end users.
• Performs/oversees periodic risks assessments to identify current/future security vulnerabilities, determines the acceptable level of risk, and prepares recommendations to reduce information security risks to an acceptable level.
• Prepares and periodically updates information security policies, architectures, standards, and/or other technical documents to ensure all resources are adequately protected.
• Manage the day-to-day activities of threat and vulnerability management. Implement action plans to mitigate identified system vulnerabilities and provide regular status updates to Management
• Review and evaluate security vulnerabilities using WithSecure, Proficio Technologies.
• Evaluate Firewall zero-day threat assessment from “Wildfire” report. submit sample to PA for analyze to determine if malicious, if verdict is Benign report is sent from PA by email describing action to be taken,
• Respond and review ticket from end user and provide support to security related services.
• Evaluate Palo Alto threat reports at Each site locations, Review on Severity, Action, Host Name, and Counts. Apply Fixes as needed.
• Evaluate top usage by user and application. Review user and groups activity and time on browse activity. Report suspicious usages to Managers
• Evaluate Zoltek website hosted word fence firewalls review Web site for Antivirus, threats, Malware, blacklist, report problems as need and patch/fixes
• Evaluate Cisco router version and configuration, Review config’s, backup before change, modify devices version, check for errors
• Evaluate PA firewalls version and configuration, review config’s, backup before change, modify PA version, check for errors when completed
• Manage PA Global Protect usage, monitor availability.
• Manage and maintain SD-WAN VeloCloud at all sites.
• Evaluate Firewall Threat Summary Reports at each location utilizing Zoltek’s ProSoc SIEM.
• Review and administer Zoltek’s PC and Server EPP, manage vulnerabilities, and deploy patches to PC, Servers, and network switches.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of related experience in Palo Alto Firewall preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in SD-WAN Velocloud systems.
• 3+ years of experience in ProSoc and SIEM services.
• 3+ years of experience in all aspect of enterprise networking.
• Problem solving, customer service, verbal and written communication, professionalism, planning and organizational skills, etc.
• Education: AS/BS in Information Technology or related field required or equivalent experience
