IT Project Manager

Our client is seeking an IT Project Manager with a background in banking and financial services support to be based in their Miami FL office day 1. Spanish fluency is welcomed but is NOT mandatory.

Major Requirements

Local to Miami

At least 10 years experience in complex IT project management (project size managed should be minimum $10 Million) Experience with Agile Experience using Jira, Confluence, Monday.com and other tools for project management Experience managing projects in Financial Services industry Experience in managing projects involving Cloud, DevOps, SaaS Spanish a plus but not required

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage specific efforts to support BSI International Select Project Manage the relationship with BSI and all the stakeholders involved in the project Coordinate internal resources, from all functions of BSI (IT, compliance, operations, commercial, legal and other) and third parties' vendors for the flawless execution of projects Coordinate and manage other vendors, allocated off-shore in order to follow-up the project tasks, prioritize activities, define requirements, etc. Supervise those activities are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget Review the definition of scope and objectives and development features, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress Document and manage the project plan and reports in tools like JIRa, Confluence, Wrike and /or Smartsheet Setup the project management tools and sections in Wrike, Jira, Confluence, and / or Smartsheet or other Manage the project environment and tools Manage changes to the scope, schedule and costs using appropriate verification techniques Coordinate with developers the clarification of specific requirements, and follow-up the development activities with them Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, monitor and control of development team Execution Performance Assist the creation of comprehensive project documentation, all the requirements documentation to be developed by third parties Assist the development of standards and processes and encouraging the use of those within the development team Assist and coordinate the implementation and knowledge transfer within the organization, including agile methodologies for development processes Report and escalate to management as needed Perform risk management to minimize project risks Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals Monitor budgetary objectives and make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis Support business decisions thorough analysis, research and workshops Assist in documentation of project deliverables and artifacts including use of PowerPoint, word, excel, visio and or other flow diagramming tools.
