Our client provides leading edge cybersecurity services that improve security, promote innovation, and transform cybersecurity for government and commercial customers.

Core Responsibilities

Our client is seeking an IT PM who will support all phases of analytic work product development, from the identification of key business questions to the development of functional requirements.

  • Lead team on large projects or significant segment of large complex projects
  • Analyze new and complex project related problems and creates innovative solutions involving scheduling, technology, methodology, tools, and solution components
  • Prepare long and short-range plans for application selection, systems development, systems maintenance, and production activities and for necessary support resources
  • Direct and coordinate activities related to the design, development, and implementation of web-based software application within constraints and while ensuring end user business needs are met
  • Participate meaningfully in technical and non-technical conversations with partners, and be able to contribute and track details throughout those discussions
  • Manage a small software development team of various skill levels to assess individual strengths and weaknesses to appropriately flex efforts towards tasks prioritized by the individual filling this position

Requirements

  • Experience with fed gov software app dev projects from inception to implementation
  • 5+ years of relevant career experience; Stable work history is a must
  • Experience leading small teams is an absolute must
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence are a must
  • Strong knowledge and proficiency with Agile development methodology required

Preferred Requirements

  • Recent experience serving as a Sr. Business Analyst or Scrum Master is coveted
  • Experience working with or for the Department of Homeland Security is highly prized

Education/Certification Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or other IT-related field is a big plus
  • PMP and CSM certifications are also a big plus

Clearance Requirements

  • An active TS/SCI clearance is required
