IT Business Systems Analyst Job at Boyd Corporation
The IT business Relationship Analyst role involves Creating scalable solutions for business problems using various analytical and business process techniques.
What a typical day looks like:
We are creating scalable solutions for business problems using various Business Processes and analytical techniques.
Translating Supply Chain business problems and questions into specific quantitative questions to be answered. Co-work with the software development team
Analyzing and extracting relevant information from ERP and Datawarehouse to help automate and optimize key processes
Establishing scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation
Making business recommendations (e.g., cost-benefit, forecasting, experiment analysis) with effective presentations of findings to stakeholders through visual displays of quantitative information
Building scalable prototype analytics solutions to support Business objectives.
Working closely with software development/engineering teams to build model implementations and integrate successful models and algorithms in production systems at scale
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Business/ Information Systems/Data Science/Supply Chain/Operations Research with 3+ years of experience in relevant work.
Strong knowledge of applied business requirement gathering methods.
Problem Solving using Process Changes
Working knowledge of Power BI.
Strong business requirement gathering for ERP projects experience
Experience with SQL and working with relational & non-relational databases (SQL Server)
Practical written and oral communication skills in English
Strong Experience in Manufacturing
Team player ability
Additional advantages will be:
Experience with XML, JSON data formats, working with REST APIs, SVN/Git, or other version control tools and techniques
Be able to present quantitative results in the proper context to various target audiences
Demonstrated capability in building scalable analytical solutions
Portfolio of data science projects on Github.com , RPubs.com , etc.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms
Demonstrated background in programming in C++, Java
Bachelor/Master of Science degree in Business/ Information Systems/Data Science/Supply Chain/Operations Research with 3+ years of experience in relevant work.
