Job Summary
The Investor Services Analyst II is responsible for the assigned monthly reporting, remitting, and reconciling to the applicable trustees and Master Servicers by the contractual deadlines. The investors include Private Securities and Whole Loan Investors, this includes functions related to loan acquisitions, services releases, corporate and P&I Advance analysis, as well as timely and accurate completion of assigned special projects. The ideal candidate ensures that custodial and applicable IR Operating GL reconciliation items are cleared within department guidelines. Responsible for existing and new deal setup and maintenance or IR system of Record.
Primary Job Responsibilities
- Under limited supervision responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and remitting on investor portfolios, ensuring that all requirements pertaining to specific investor are met.
- Ensures any and all reporting discrepancies with the Master Servicer and/or Trustee are resolved and adjustments to the applicable remittances are complete.
- Ensures all investor funds are routed to/from correct bank accounts and general ledger accounts. Researches and resolves any out of balance conditions.
- Verifies that investor/sale records are set up in accordance with corresponding servicing agreements.
- Maintains all PI advance-related data on IR system of record which is used to calculate total firm exposure for Balance sheet purposes.
- Researches and responds to investor inquiries post-investor cutoff.
- May perform other related duties or ad hoc projects within the scope of responsibilities
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor's degree (preferred)
- At least 2 years of related experience
- Advanced Excel experience, including, Pivot tables, Vlookups & Amortizing loans preferred
- SQL experience (preferred)
