Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Inventory Planning Analyst to join our Motorsports team in Marietta, GA. The Inventory Planning Analyst will perform various inventory planning duties that include but not limited to the maintenance of factory production, joint efforts with logistics, placement of kit orders, analyzing wholesale/retail data, and coordinating discounted sales programs. Creation and maintenance of all motorsports price sheets, as well as responsible for entering and managing pricing records in SAP. Effectively communicates and problem solves issues that arise that pertain to numerous sales operations and supply chain duties

Specific duties include, but are not limited to:

• Communicates and maintains all Motorsports factory’s production alongside Forecasting team and the Supply Chain Supervisor. Generates reports to analyze wholesale, retail and inventory levels to adjust production. Maintains constant communication with several departments involved with facilitating production
• Generates necessary files and coordinates multi-product line discounted sales. Communicates with internal staff about any issues that arise and troubleshoots to solve quickly and effectively
• Set up and manage unit price sheets and pricing in SAP. Examine wholesale orders to determine if pricing will affect current orders, work with Sales Planning to determine if price locks are needed and advise Order Desk how to proceed. Maintain necessary pricing records for JSOX audits.
• Create and administer reports related to product availability, wholesale, and other ad-hoc reports requested by management.
• Analyze, place and manage kit orders to support unit production and that warehouse allocation supports unit wholesale. Manage kit inventory and make suggestions on what to do with surplus inventory (i.e- kit destruction, relabel to next model year, etc.)
• Work with logistics on cross docks and end of month shipping directions.
• Utilizes and demonstrates depth of job knowledge by cross training and writing procedures for the various inventory planning tasks and reports.
• Act as back up for other department responsibilities, including but not limited to: model setups, chargebacks and loan pool reserve management.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field preferred with 1 year of Business experience or 2-3 years business experience in an analytical & problem-solving capacity
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Extremely organized with strong time management skills
• SAP experience preferred
• Advanced Excel skills required
• Excellent written/verbal communication skills
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment. Job requires considerable judgment and initiative with limited supervision.
