Summary of Essential Job Functions:

• As Inventory Manager, you become an integral member of both the company’s accounting and operational management teams managing perishable inventory on site and storage facilities.
• In this position you will be responsible for the company’s inventory, overseeing the processing of high-volume incoming products and supply shipments in a timely manner daily.
• Experience with ERP or other data systems is critical.
• This is an office position who will collaborate with accounting, purchasing and warehouse teams as needed.
• The ideal candidate will be highly organized, experienced with inventory/purchase order systems and documentation to include but not be limited to report preparation and inventory reconciliation.
• You will be responsible for ensuring all correct procedures are followed by all personnel in receiving the product. This includes all accompanying paperwork documentation as well as temperature parameters.
• Damages, shorts, weight, and count issues must be communicated to Purchasing Agent as well as Accounting.
• A count and weight verification system are to be maintained on an ongoing basis.
• Responsibility will include ensuring proper procedures are followed for vendor returns.
• You will be responsible for driving efficiency within the warehouse and providing guidance for process improvement.
• Optimize warehouse and storage units to maximize production.

Minimum Requirements:

• BS degree in accounting preferred but not necessary
• Three to Five years’ experience in Inventory Control / Cost Accounting
• Able to travel to other locations to assist where necessary
• Highly organized
• Able to work in cold and wet environments for extended periods.
• Must be proficient in Excel including but not limited to V-Lookup & Pivot tables.
• Ability to work in fast paced environment.
• Possess problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $58,000.00 per year
